Lilley, a CIA agent and US ambassador to China and then Taiwan. The senior Lilley had a  front row seat to therise of communism in Asia, having been born and raised in prewar China. The younger Lilley witnessed the fall of the Soviet Union and went on to live in Kyrgyzstan. Out of that experience came his second book, Have the Mountains Fallen, an account of the terrible toll of the Cold War on the Kyrgyz peoples

Furuzonfar graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA in Economics and Finance (with honours). He is a TEDx license holder, a mentor for the Laudato Si Challenge, a mentor for Founder Institute, and is an active member of the Hong Kong University and St. John’s College Alumni Club.
